At Kingfisher data is key to our decision making and our newly formed Merchandising Performance Team shows our commitment to ensuring we realise the value that our data can generate and the vast opportunities this presents.
As an analyst, you will be responsible for providing honest and robust retail merchandising analysis and insight to support, develop and understand an area of our business. Your role will see you source, process and deliver accurate data and analysis across over 600 international retail stores with 5.3 million m2 of selling space through the use and development of bespoke analytical tools. The role will be a mixture of project-based work and day-to-day insight and analysis, the wider purpose of which is to give the business greater insight into its operation and potential areas of improvement as well as facilitating data-based assessment of issues and initiatives.
To carry out this role you will previous experience working within a Macro/Micro Space or Commercial planning capacity. You will be a logical thinker with a strong attention to detail and commercial awareness. You will have shown the ability to apply advanced analytics and statistics to business problems. Our environment is fast paced and constantly changing, so you will need to have a proactive attitude that embraces that change with a desire and ability to develop and progress.
