    About Kingfisher

We’re Kingfisher. You might know us as B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama, Brico Depot or Koçtaş. We’re made up of 79,000 passionate people, call 1,302 stores home and operate in 10 countries. That’s right, we’re big, but we have ambitions to become even bigger and even better. We want to become the leading home improvement company and grow the largest community of home improvers in the world. And that’s where you come in.

This role is part of our Supply & Logistics Team. This function manages and operates the supply and logistics activities for all OpCos. The role of S&L is to create an integrated supply chain, from vendor to customer to improve levels of stock efficiency, reduce duplication and costs. In summary, specific impacts include:

    • OSC direct sourcing strategy is driving a move to increase far sourcing of product. As a result, stock held in distribution centres is expected to double across the Group over the next 5 years
    • Easier implementation will establish the principle of central stock planning and replenishment. For many OpCos this will generate a shift change in S&L activities, skills and resources
    • The Logistics Network Transformation project will create the road map to deliver an integrated logistics infrastructure, creating single stock points for OpCos working together under one roof
    • The Unified offer is driving unprecedented levels of range change & implementation demands across the Group, including Supply & Logistics

The Supply Analyst will work as part of a Sourcing supply team and will support the Supply Manager by ensuring all unified ranges and promotions, and ongoing replenishment are delivered on time in full (OTIF) and compliant to our Operating Companies. They will collate and share sales and demand forecasts, drive continuous improvement, and identify opportunities to improve end to end efficiencies through analysis of data, and trends.

They will work closely with the other Kingfisher International Products Limited (KIPL) functions, Operating companies and Vendors, to support the development of the KIPL sourcing strategies, and commercial objectives.

To do so, you will identify and deliver opportunities within the end to end supply chain to improve process, costs and availability for their product categories. You will collate, review and share sales and demand forecasts with key vendors, also to challenge and refine them where appropriate.

In collaboration with vendors, sourcing offices, logistics, OpCo market and OSC category teams, you will ensure the ordering and delivery for range launches, promotions and ongoing replenishment to ensure the required availability of stock for customers is met. Your main responsibility will also be about ensuring that vendors understand and comply with all requirements of our KIPL and OpCo’s as defined within the Kingfisher Vendor manual. You will then make sure we deliver to agreed stock, availability and end-to-end supply chain set KPI for their product categories.

We are looking for someone with an intermediate level of experience in managing the end-to-end supply chain operations. Knowledge of supply systems and processes within a retail environment, and a commercial understanding of what drives the business success, is a mandatory.

You are a degree holder or above, preferably in Businss, Supply Chain or Logistics.

You have an analytical mind set, and a strong knowledge of merchandising, inventory planning & product set-up. You understand end-to-end supply chain costs and modelling, as well as key vendor/store/customer replenishment parameters.

You are fluent in Romanian and English. French would be an advantage.

Please note that driving licence is required as you would be traveling onto several places to meet suppliers.

To be successful on this role, you should have confidence in the skills outlined below and be able to apply these in routine and familiar situations with occasional guidance from others:

    • You have strong knowledge of the factors involved in managing vendors and operations within a particular region to ensure ongoing replenishment for OpCos is OTIF and compliance.

This will involve identifying and communicating to vendors and OpCo’s any areas where improvement is required.
    • You have an appreciation of the full product lifecycle together and supply chain cost drivers to ensure new ranges launches and promotions are delivered OTIF and compliant.
    • You are aware of sustainability principles and how to create more value socially, environmentally and financially
