Working within the Local Product Data Management team you will be accountable for SAP product data for the local OpCo. You will actively input, maintain and cleanse this data ensuring it’s accurate, delivered to brief and to deadline. You will collaborate cross functionally to support delivery of Range Change and Trading Plans for the OpCo, and flexing within the Product Data Management team to organise yourselves, safeguarding all activity for the local OpCO
This role will focus primarily on the coordination of data between the companies eg. Castorama, to enable the successful setup of products and vendors in their systems. It will involve maintaining a detailed tracking tool for the Product data set up process, highlighting risks and ensuring that the agreed key milestones have a suitable escalation route and that the risks/ issues are effectively communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
It will be target led from the perspective of producing accurate quality data, informing the central functions of the requirements, sharing best practice and leading by example on the agreed strategic direction for product data.
On this role you will be responsible for Product and Vendor data management : you will be creating and maintaining detailed tracking documents to monitor the progress of product data set up for multiple, concurrent projects and to ensure that quality data is available to the required stakeholders by the agreed deadlines.
You will be the "go-to" person for the cross functional teams to answer questions about the Product Data elements of the process, the templates and requirements to ensure successful delivery of the range. You will need to understand the end to end processes involved in the product data acquisition and setup.
The successful candidate will support key stakeholders in the collection of product data from external sources and help fix data related issues in required templates ; he/she will also be in contact as required with key stakeholders in the data acquisition process to highlight missing / late information to ensure they meet their deadlines.
The Product Data BP will be collating data to provide weekly progress updates to the business, including highlighting any risks and issues to the Leadership Team.
