    The Trading Team has been designed to ensure that our markets are following and meeting the global plan. They create Market Trade Plans using the defined group strategy and guidelines, and they define the group Sales and Pricing strategy.

    Responsibilities

    Analytical skill set : 

     

    You will review total & Unique performance, summarising performance and make recommendations on key areas pf focus. 

     

    You will identify what the performance issues are driven by e.g pricing, availability, ranging, market etc. 

     

    You will also recommend solutions to on under performance issues and work with relevant teams to execute. 

     

    Present prioritised risk and opportununities to the trading managers. 

    Support the team with timely delivery of reporting/packs/decks.

     

    Generalist skill set : 

     

    You will support the organisation of any required meetings; apturing the minutes, actions and preparinf the draft presentations. 

     

    You will also manage Check List of key Milestones for the delivery of each new range at Opco level. 

     

    Manage meeting Actions plans. Requesting updates from relevant functions. 

     

    Gather Market specific information including market share, competitor intel etc. summarising changes in market dynamics. 

     

    Manage the promotional process. 

    Qualifications

    We are looking for someone who is able to be permanently connected with other teams and to be aligned with the global strategy.

     

    Business School graduate, you have a first experience of managing a commercial strategy ideally in a retail or related environment

     

    It will be necessary to be a confident English speaker. The language of the Kingfisher business is English.
