As the Digital Engineering Manager within the Kingfisher Digital Hub, you will work with the Head of Engineering by acting as the Leader for all development and engineering activities in London, ensuring that standards are set, met and that good practices are implemented. As a line manager for the Development teams you will be an excellent coach, mentor and also be adept at skills training.
We’re an organisation who follows an Agile framework, so the Digital Engineering Manager would work closely with each of our scrum teams assisting the planning and delivery stages. You will have practical experience of matrix-management, which you can call upon as an example for others to follow. This position will include working closely with Delivery Leads, coordinating Business Analysts, Architects and Developers, as well as liaising with key project stakeholders.

We're looking for somebody who has a passion for web and mobile technologies. A desire to remain technically capable and an expert in current technologies. Has worked in Scrum, XP and Kanban methodologies and is a is a natural team leader.
Somebody with strong coaching skills who can effectively manage stakeholders, can creatively facilitate groups but also has digital technologies & architecture experience. Somebody who has a broad interest in diverse IT technologies and frameworks and their use in business. Is imaginative and creative in solving problems and is a great team player celebrating team achievement above individual achievement.
