Our Commercial function, including merchandising, is part of Offer and Supply Chain. The role of the Merchandiser is to create visually inspiring and commercially effective product displays for all Operating Companies, making the customer journey easier and more inspirational while enabling self-selection where relevant. This will be achieved by defining, developing and delivering the visual merchandising and space planning for each range.
This position will require the Merchandiser to work at an international group wide level and will be responsible for delivering customer focused merchandising principles across all Kingfisher Groups Operating Companies. This person will need to have significant experience in visual merchandising with a clear knowledge and appreciation for multi-format merchandising concepts, effective visualization of those concepts and space planning.

The main responsabilities are :
We are looking for someone with experience of working with different cultures and with great skill in understanding, influencing and engaging people at all levels. You will be confident and able to travel widely to build good working relationships.
You must be an excellent communicator both written and spoken. It will be necessary for the merchandiser to be a confident English speaker. The language of the Kingfisher business is English.
The successful person will be good at finding solutions for problems and thinking with innovation and enthusiasm.
This person will need to have significant experience in visual merchandising or store design with a clear knowledge and appreciation of customer journey mapping, multi-format merchandising concepts and store equipment.
Ideally you will be skilled in visualisation of store layout and design and also planogram creation using specialist computer systems.
You will have experience of sales performance reporting and some background in analysis, forecasting and space planning. You should be comfortable with in store communication, with experience of store operations.
